Another project started in 2018. It was stopped because #04 and #05 were printed on canvas and stretched. I used masking tape to define where print edges were to fold over stretcher bar edge. When stretched the tape was removed and some of the ink was removed by tape. I forgot to seal the ink to eliminate this issue. Bad me! Again lack of studio space stopped this element of the shoe project.

This project is ongoing. I found images of high heel shoes going back to the 13th C and some earlier. Again hoping to get back to this work in new studio in Lake Tapps WA.

Using digital drawing and digital painting software to convert photos to drawings or paintings, the software creates an onscreen video-like procedure where the image construction is observable as the software processes the image according how the filters are set. If I like the end result, I repeat the process and create a video of the screen as it processes the photograph. Images 04-07, 10-11, 29- 31 represent images created by snapping a shot of a video frame.

The monochrome images are samples of digital drawing created by drawing software and tablet pen drawing.
