All images were taken from the car. The non snow scene locations were mid-to-western Iowa on Interstate 80. The snow scenes were taken from Sioux City Iowa to the Badlands S. Dakota on Interstate 90. The focus of this set of images was color correction to eliminate the influence of the car tinted windshield.
01-14: Iowa. Interstate 80 between Belle Plaine and Omaha. The Belle Plaine area is hilly giving way to the great plains of Western Iowa.
15-23: Wind generators. These are massive machines. #17 and 18 illustrate one blade we saw on a flat bed.
24-41: South Dakota along I90. The snow lasted from the Iowa/S. Dakota border to the middle of the state. I was fascinated with how beautiful the flatness presented itself with or without the snow.
42-45: Badlands National Park. I present a few images here. Hope to create a separate presentation of the Badlands at a later date.
