After my move to North Carolina in 1992 and my studio was operational in 1993, texture and thick paint was a consideration I continued to explore, as well as moving away from using only scraping and trowelling tools; back to brushes.
Before leaving the scrape/trowel approach, I applied the paint by thin layers of color, scraping and rubbing the paint in transparent coatings. The medium is acrylic polymer on cotton canvas. |
