I took a set of digital images shortly after making each of these pieces. All castings and direct-plaster sculptures are at their early curing stage. I decided to show all of these pictures in unedited form. Pics were taken with flash lighting and daylight fluorescent tube lighting. Some color balancing was made in Corel Photopaint software. The issues presented many surprises that I actually like and find rather expressive. #'s 10-13; 80-85; 92: Flat piece in plaster constructed on burlap. #'s64-74: Small direct plaster pieces; paper towels, cloth, and cardboard used as armatures. ==================================================== As of the date of this writing and posting [Monday, August 9, 2010], all of the June plasters are dry. The final painting of the sculptures is currently in process and will be part of the next update to my site. ==================================================== |
