August 2011. Some small sculptures. Revisited Friday, June 13, 2014 In August of 2011, I did a series of test photo sessions with my newly purchased Nikon D7000 DSLR. I had forgotten about focal plane shutters and the strange and weird colors that appear in images when photographing under fluorescent lighting; must sync shutter speed to 60 cycles/min on/off business in fluorescent tubes. Here are the final results. ![]() The cream colored pieces are paper mache clay. The white pieces are plaster of Paris. The other materials shown are obvious; I think! Images #8 through #18 are in various states of drying; damp spots are observable on some of the plaster works. |
